Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Jurisdiction on matters relating to food, nutrition, and hunger - both in the U.S. and in foreign countries, required to study and review these issues and to report on them
periodically. Subcommittee of Marketing, Inspection, and Product Promotion with jurisdiction covering legislation on foreign agricultural trade, foreign market development,
oversight of international commodity agreements and export controls on agricultural commodities, and foreign assistance programs. Subcommittee of Foreign Operations with jurisdiction covering many international agencies and organizations. Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Jurisdiction covering export and foreign trade promotion, export controls, and is mandated to study and review matters relating to the international economic policy as it
affects U.S. monetary affairs, credit, and financial institutions. Subcommittee on International Trade and Finance. Jurisdiction over customs, collection districts, and ports of entry and delivery; reciprocal trade agreements; and tariffs and import quotas. Subcommittee on International
Trade.
Committee on Foreign Relations Committee on Governmental Affairs Subcommittee on International Security, Proliferation, and Federal Services with jurisdiction on intergovernmental relationships between U.S. and the states and municipalities, and between the U.S. and international organizations of which the U.S. is a member and organization and management of U.S. nuclear export policy. |
